Life is not just something to be endured. It is to be lived in joy, in fullness without limit.
But we are born to be happy, to be abundantly supplied with every good thing, to have fun in living, to consciously unite with the Divine Power that is around us and within us, and to grow and expand forever.
Each of us is on a spiritual path to become more in touch with our Divine Self, to awaken, to change our life for the better, etc. Whatever that thought or desire is it is coming from the ingrained thought patterns of our personal history. Thinking is the basis for our creations. Of course, how we think is something that we can work on consciously, but (there’s always a but…) if this was as easy as it sounds everyone would be healthier, wealthier and happier.
You don’t have to do this alone! Through the Sunday talks, classes, Oneness Blessing/Deeksha, sharing with friends, consulting a Practitioner and other activities, we are here to support you.
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
“I and the Father are one.” John 10:30
When we pray recognizing Spirit’s Omniscience, Omnipotence, Omnipresence and realizing our unity with Spirit, then our prayer is a spiritual treatment. There is no begging or urge to compel an outside entity. We believe that God is an Indwelling Presence therefore our prayers are naturally addressed to this Infinite Presence within and consequently our prayer is answered as we believe.
We put these beliefs into action using a five-step affirmative prayer called Spiritual Mind Treatment. The five steps are:
1. Recognition—recognizing the Presence of Spirit/God is all there is.
2. Identification, Unification—knowing ourselves as One with God/Spirit.
3. Declaration, Affirmation, Realization—applying the Truth to what we want to manifest.
4. Gratitude, Acceptance—expressing genuine gratitude, believing we are receiving.
5. Release—releasing, trusting it is complete. “Let go and let God”
A sample Treatment : I know God is All there is and that I am one with God in Spirit, Mind and Body. I know the perfect health I seek already exists in the Mind of God. Knowing I am one with God and that my perfect health is already established, I claim and accept my healthy body now giving thanks for it! I now release this prayer to the Universe knowing it is done as I believe. I let go and let God. And so it is.
Meditation is simply quieting the conscious mind to enable a fuller experience of God’s presence. There are many ways to meditate such as chanting, following the breath, using a mantra, contemplation, listening to the silence. All of these help instill a deep sense of inner peace and relaxation that benefits all aspects of our lives – spiritual, mental and physical.
Ernest Holmes defines meditation as:
The recognition of the Father within, the certainty of our Oneness with the Whole, the immediate availability of the Power and Wisdom resulting from this Oneness. Such communion with God brings harmony into our lives and affairs, establishes the law of health and prosperity, and makes us a light to all who cross our pathway.
A Practitioner has completed many years of training and study preparing themselves to offer Spiritual Mind Treatment to others and is certified by The Creative Thought Center for that purpose.
Many times we are too emotionally involved in a situation, illness or experience to be objective — we can’t see the forest for the trees. A Practitioner works with a person to shift a particular belief and create a desired outcome. He/she knows the Truth about that person and declares it through personalized treatment.
“I always sought Spiritual Mind Treatment [from a Practitioner] when I was feeling unsure or upset about something or when I was angry with someone. The practitioner brought me back to Reality and the understanding that I was one with the person with whom I was angry and then explained who I was and the other person as well via step 2. We were both Spiritual beings and God beings because we are all creations of God and if there is only One, then we must all be a part of that Oneness. The practitioner spoke in the order of the steps and I always understood then and came back to the reality of my life. Using the steps is an unfoldment of Reality to me and clears one’s head and allows release of emotions that are causing emotional pain. The Practitioner reminded me who I am.” Carol Brennan, Practitioner in Training
