There can be no peace, personal or global, without forgiveness. We all make mistakes, and let’s face it, some mistakes are too much fun to only make once! So we ask for forgiveness. Someone once said “There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.” (Josh Billings) But it’s important to not seek forgiveness out of revenge, guilt, or fear. It needs to come from the heart. It’s an act of love.
