It is appreciated if you arrive a few minutes early so we can be settled and start promptly at 7pm. Each session will run between 1 -1/2 to 2 hours. There will be some information shared about speaking in addition to participation in the Speaking Circle process. While no work needs to be done outside the group, there will be suggestions for practice beween sessions and practice and reporting back to the group on results will be encouraged.

A Speaking Circle is a process developed by author Lee Glickstein (Be Heard Now! author) to reduce stage fright when speaking in public.  This is a practice/a process, not a class where you are taught something.  While reducing stage fright is the primary purpose for participating, the benefits to those that participate have been far greater and include:

·  Creating greater impact when speaking

·  Being more interactive and engaging with audiences

·  Developing deeper personal relationships

·  Being more comfortable speaking up in meetings and with groups

·  Gaining greater self-confidence and feeling more self-assured
