CTC THRIFT STORE

The Creative Thought Center Thrift Store is a fundraising and community outreach program that was started in 2010 with two objectives in mind. The first objective was to raise funds to help support the Creative Thought Center community and enable our Center to contribute more via its giving program to worthy causes. The second objective was to make a connection with the people in the surrounding neighborhood and provide them with a place to shop that provides functional goods from clothing to furniture at affordable prices. Both objectives have exceeded our Board of Trustees’ expectations and continue to be an amazing source of funding and community outreach.

Thankfully, our ongoing endeavor to support the larger community continues to be an enormous success. We are pleased to list some of our recipients here: Charity Water, Big Brothers, Broyhill Children’s Home, Helping Hands, Lend Us Your Ear, Star Ranch Rescue, United Way, Future Farmers of America, Maple Leaf Adult Care, Senior Resource Center, Pathways of Haywood County, Pigeon Street Community Center, Head Start Program, Meals on Wheels, Senior Resource Center, Haywood Rescue Squad, Open Door Kitchen, Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation, REACH of Haywood County (Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Services), K.A.R.E. (Kids Advocacy Resource Effort), Haywood Spay & Neuter, and the HART Theater.
